Relieve Stress
Who would not rather find a natural way to relieve stress? Anyone? Stress can be good or bad, but long-term stress can produce long lasting effects that are hard on people. When a caveman gets chased by a dinosaur, his sympathetic nervous system (SNS) is activated to give him the ability to run to his cave faster. Once there, his SNS returns to normal. However, when we narrowly escape into our “cave” after an encounter with Mr.Road Rage, we are met with a stack of bills, scrolls of emails, and non-stop texts. When your nervous system pumps out extra stress hormones over a long period of time, it depletes your body’s reserves. This can cause feelings of being worn out, overwhelmed, and can weaken your body’s immune system. Here are a couple of recipes to help relieve feelings of stress and anxiety.
