Thyroid Thoughts

Sometimes it’s hard to get going on Mondays.  For some people it’s nearly impossible. If that is you, then you may want to examine your thyroid. The thyroid secretes hormones, primarily thyroxin.  Thyroxin boosts the metabolism of virtually every cell in the body, approximately doubling the body’s rate of metabolic activity. If it doesn’t send out the correct amount of thyroxin, then the other endocrine glands won’t be stimulated to produce their hormones properly. So… you really need your thyroid at a normal level.

Do you want to start nourishing your thyroid the Young Living way? The first thing to do is to “jump start” with Endoflex oil. The thyroid also loves Myrtle. Myrtle oil is found in Endoflex but sometimes it may be necessary to use more Myrtle in addition to the Endoflex. You can rub these oils directly on your throat.

Thyromin is an excellent supplement to feed the thyroid whether it is under or over active.  It works to normalize the gland. Thyromin capsules are best taken in the evening because the thyroid receives its major energy from the meridian system between 9 and 11 PM, so taking it then allows the body to use it at the proper time. Some people have found that taking Thyromin at night causes them to have insomnia. This will pass in a few days. (Excerpts from Taming the Dragon Within)
