In June of 2012 I fell asleep driving. The Lord was watching over me because it was the only spot in our neighborhood with two empty lots. I was struggling with extreme fatigue for quite some time along with weight gain, very low blood pressure (88/58), foggy headed/surreal feeling, forgetful, scared, inability to concentrate, dizzy, etc. A friend from church told me she had relief by seeing a chiropractor who performed acupuncture. So for the next year, I received acupuncture, preformed many whole body detoxing, took more supplements a day than I could hold in two hands, changed my diet due to suspected candidiasis and started on bio-identical hormone creams.
About $3,500.00 later, there was almost no change. The chiropractor had run out of options for me and referred me to a Environmental Health and Allergy doctor because she was convinced that the Candida was the underlying source of the problem and the doctor could treat it with prescribed medication.
My first visit was July of 2013. I was really impressed with the doctor. He was thorough and quite unconventional, focusing on treating the cause and not the symptoms. He started working on the low blood pressure and Candida by putting me on Potassium and Nystatin, starving my body of sugar and yeast, and having me self administer injections of the Candida to build up my tolerance.
I saw some relief in the fogginess feeling but nothing else. I did extensive food allergy testing. He switched my Synthroid with Armour, treated my adrenals with hydrocortisone and fludrocortisones, and started me on progesterone pills, estrogen patches and testosterone pellets that were injected every three months. Still no help. Then he tested for mineral deficiencies and I started IV nutritional therapy every two weeks and drank a specially formulated amino acid powder every day. Then my hair started falling out so he put me on another prescription. I was up to 10 prescriptions and 8 supplements a day and my body was telling me that that was too much. Most of this was not covered by insurance and I can be safe in saying that I had paid close to $5,000.00 out of pocket for one year of visits, tests, supplements and meds.
In July of 2014 (entering my third year of looking for answers) a friend posted a blog written by a woman whose son had severe cognitive wellness issues. The blog explained how he recovered from his diagnosis through essential oils and other natural methods. I was curious about the oils themselves since I knew nothing about them.
I ordered my premium starter kit and began using it for wellness issues like muscle and head discomfort, supporting my bladder and detoxing. At that point I was a believer and with some help from experienced oil users, set up a protocol to use for the other areas mentioned above. It was literally two weeks into the protocol and I was no longer hitting a wall mid morning and afternoon. NO MORE NAPS! After two months I discontinued 5 medications and all supplements. Within 2 months after that, I was off of 4 more and 6 months from starting the protocol I no longer needed my thyroid medication, after 28 years!! The oils maintain, support and promote balance to your body, so it can do what it needs to do on its own. After 4 years of suffering and two years of searching, my life was literally changed in 4 months.
